Samsung February 2023 Security Update Is Now Available For These Devices – Live Status
Samsung began rolling out the February 2023 security patch to eligible Galaxy devices alongside the new firmware update. The February 2023 Android security patch details reveal the improvements and fixes made in the latest software update for Galaxy devices.
As per the official information, this month’s security patch addresses a total of 55 vulnerabilities and risks that were affecting the security of the devices and the privacy of their users, which includes 5 CVEs of severe level and 43 CVEs of high level, while no moderate level of CVE is defined.
For the Galaxy Note 20 series, Samsung initially released the February 2023 Android security patch, which has been continuously expanding to more devices. As software update rollout is gradual, availability may vary by region or network carrier.
Specifically, your Galaxy device will notify you as soon as a new software update is available. In the meantime, it’s easy enough to manually check for new OTAs. All you have to do is go to System Settings, then Software Update, followed by Download and Install.
